Why should I use JobRainbow.com?

In today's tough economic climate, you need to maximize every dollar you spend in order to stay profitable. You have probably been spending a lot of money on the big-name job boards out there - sometimes with good results, sometimes not. You may have been spending thousands of dollars a year just to search resumes.

We want you to help us in making JobRainbow.com a thriving website and community - not by spending money here, but just by posting jobs and searching resumes, which you would be paying big bucks to do elsewhere. As the number of jobs increases, that will attract more candidates, which means more applicants for your jobs and more resumes to search in the database.

What are the restrictions?

There are no restrictions on resume searching. You can search as much as you want in any location. Some candidates will include their email addresses and/or phone numbers in their resumes, and some will be Confidential. If a candidate is Confidential, you can only contact him or her through an online form. However, there is no cost to do that. You can save your resume searches in your account, email resumes to yourself or anyone else, and store resumes in your account.

Initially, we allow you to post up to 500 jobs. That should be plenty for almost any employer. If you need more than that, you should probably be talking to us about batch posting. The posting plan lasts for 10 years. You can post, edit, replace, and delete your jobs through an online interface.

What's the catch? How does JobRainbow.com make money?

There is no catch. We make money from the various advertisements you see on the site (not the job ads, the banner ads etc.). We urge to visit any advertisers whose products or services you might be interested in. We hope to build up the traffic of the site to the point where we can generate enough income from these advertisers to keep the wolf from our door. In the future, we may be charging for premium job postings that get higher visibility and/or making a small charge for the initial setup of an employer account, but at this time there is no charge and all the job postings have equal status. 

How do I get started?

The first thing to do is open an account. There is no charge for this. We will have to approve your account before any of your jobs will appear online. You also will not be able to search resumes until your account is approved. We need to make sure you are a legitimate employer or recruiter wanting to post real jobs and/or search resumes with the intention of filling real jobs. There are many criminals trying to access online databases to harvest email addresses for illegal purposes or wanting to post get-rich-quick schemes in the guise of job ads.

We are located in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada (a suburb of Vancouver). JobRainbow.com is a US/Canadian job board, but we expect most of the resumes and jobs will be in the US. Please see our Contact Page for current contact information.
